Fans of the beloved game show host Alex Trebek will see him in January when he hosts the special show Jeopardy! The Greatest of All Time that will see the best players in the show’s history compete against each other. These are Ken Jennings, James Holzhauer, and Brad Rutter. Together, the three contestants won more than $10 million on the show and won the highest amounts individually. The game show special will begin on January 7, 2020, starting at 8 p.m. ET., and everyone will be a winner. There will be a series of matches and the first to win three will win $1 million. The two remaining players will each with $250,000.
Alex Trebek said the following about the three contestants who are set to match wits and battle it out in the champion round.
“Based on their previous performances, these three are already the ‘greatest,’ but you can’t help wondering: who is the best of the best?”
The show is scheduled to air Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of January 7, 8, and 9 and then on January 14, 15, and 16. It is possible that the show will air on Friday, January 10, 2019, if it is deemed necessary.
What makes Jeopardy! The Greatest Of All Time truly spectacular is it is the show’s first time airing on primetime.

Sony Pictures Television Chairman Mike Hopkins released a statement about bringing Jeopardy to primetime.
