Ivana Trump Walked Away With $25 Million From Her Settlement, While Melania Can Make Upwards Of $50 Million

It was labeled as the billion dollar blowup back in the 1990s. Ivana and Donald Trump's divorce was a complicated one, with a massive settlement being reached between the two sides. Ivana was known for her classic quote during that time. She said, "Don't get mad, get everything."

Ivana's name was all over the media at the time of the divorce. Ultimately, People revealed that she was able to walk away with $25 million.

The publication wrote, "Ivana had repeatedly signed a nuptial agreement that put a $25 million limit on what she could take in a divorce settlement. The agreement also granted her custody of the couple's children, a Connecticut mansion, spousal, and child support, plus time at Mar-a-Lago."

However, it seems like Melania is in for a bigger payday if she divorces Donald Trump. Yahoo News stated that ending the marriage could lead to a settlement worth $50 million. It was also said that Barron was a major part of the settlement as well.

“Given what I’ve read in the tabloids, it doesn’t seem as if there’s going to be much question as to who the primary caretaker is. My guess is that she would get primary custodial rights and he would get access whenever he happens to be in town,” Newman said.

Melania Revised Her Prenup With Donald Trump Multiple Times In Recent Years

On a couple of occasions, Melania quietly renegotiated her prenup with Donald. The general feeling was that it was done for the sake of Barron and his future.

An insider tells Page Six, “Over the last year, Melania and her team have been quietly negotiating a new ‘postnup’ agreement between herself and Donald Trump.”

The source continues, “This is at least the third time Melania has renegotiated the terms of her marital agreement,” but the source added that it’s not because the former first lady is going anywhere. “Melania is most concerned about maintaining and increasing a substantial trust for their son, Barron."

The source added that it seemed as though Melania was trying to increase the settlement money.

"I know that she wanted it to provide her with more money, and also — from what I understand — there’s a specific amount at minimum that Barron is supposed to obtain.”

It should be noted that neither Donald nor Melania have confirmed these settlements taking place behind the scenes.
